Dental Crowns
Dental crowns are tooth restorations that entirely cover or “cap” a tooth. When placed, a dental crown can restore a tooth’s appearance and shape, and even correct teeth alignment problems.
A crown is used to restore a cracked, damaged, badly decayed or worn tooth. It is also usually placed after root canal treatment. It helps hold the tooth together, provides strength and protects what’s left of the tooth. A crown can also attach to an implant to provide the tooth component of this type of restoration.
In our modern practice in Paddington, modern software and digital intra oral scanners are used to take digital impressions from our patients.
